NFL power rankings after the divisional round of the playoffs:

1. Rams: We started the season with them on top. Now we’re riding with them until the end of the line.

2. Bengals: Cincinnati has made the AFC Championship Game twice. Won both times to face the 49ers in the Super Bowl. The scenario is there again, and this team seems special.

3. Chiefs: By the slimmest of margins we knock Kansas City down a notch. Like 13 seconds to force overtime slim. So we’re definitely saying there’s a chance.

4. 49ers: They’ve had the Rams number since 2018, but we think it ends here. Two upsets are impressive enough.

5. Bills: Poor Buffalo. So, so close. Again. That one will sting for a while.

6. Titans: Everything fell into place despite Derrick Henry’s injury and they still couldn’t get it done. All those sacks, and yet, all those interceptions.

7. Buccaneers: We never believed in Tampa Bay last year or this year. We were very wrong once.

8. Packers: We never believed in Green Bay this year. We were very right.
