It’s 2021 and we found all of the missing predictions from 2020. Not really, it’s just that adding ESPN makes a huge difference when it’s a sport they like. And ESPN really, really likes the NFL. 93 expert picks on the Super Bowl alone. That’s more than the predictions we found in 2020 for the NBA, NHL and MLB put together. But we’ve got many other media outlets here, too. And their combined mind is thinking Chiefs.
Scoreboard Page: Chiefs. Full disclosure: I’m not entirely confident. It’s who should win, but Tom Brady often finds a way to prevail when these bowls aren’t against his Big Blue Kryptonite. Or should I say, his team does? Malcolm Butler comes to mind as the real MVP who stopped what looked like a sure repeat by the Seahawks. Kansas City isn’t being taken for granted based on the picks below, but the Buccaneers have been overrated by everyone except our power rankings this year. But here we are. (We underestimated the 2013 Red Sox all year, too. Oops.) We never forgave Tampa Bay for losing to the Bears. If Chicago can beat them, Kansas City can – and should. Barring a fluke or a miracle, that is. (Or perhaps even … a defense?)
