Some have called this the World Series without a favorite, and the “expert” picks we found seem to agree, giving the Giants only a slight 25-23 edge. Even if we exclude ESPN’s 28 — 28! — baseball experts, the Royals top the Giants 11-9.
One surprise: 10 experts picked it to end in 5 games or less. So at least some of them are pretty confident in their choices, even if there is no overall consensus on just who that winner will be.

Royals in 6. Dynasty vs. destiny? Pfft. The Giants have their dynasty either way. You don’t go to every other World Series and win two without qualifying. I don’t see them pulling this out. Putting my faith in Ned Yost over Bruce Bochy scares me, but the Royals made it this far… unscathed. Plus I’m a sucker for speed and bunting.
